Pakistan Navy warship arrived at African port as part of overseas deployment

Pakistan Navy Ship ALAMGIR visited Kenyan port city Mombasa, as part ofoverseas deployment in African region.

Upon arrival at port, PNS ALAMGIR was received by Pakistan’s HighCommissioner in Kenya, Defence Attaché of Pakistan and senior officialsfrom Kenyan Navy.

During interactions between Mission Commander Pakistan Navy and CabinetSecretary of Defence of Kenya and Deputy Commander of Kenyan Navy, the twosides reaffirmed the resolve to enhance their bilateral ties in allspheres.

The Mission Commander conveyed good wishes of Naval Chief Admiral MuhammadAmjad Khan Niazi for the people of Kenya.

As a goodwill gesture and to extend humanitarian assistance, a free MedicalCamp was also established by Pakistan Navy at Mombasa, where a specializedteam of Pakistan Navy doctors and paramedics provided treatment andmedicines to over 5,400 patients.

Establishment of the camp was widely appreciated by the local populace.

During PNS ALAMGIR deployment to African continent since November lastyear, over 15,000 patients were provided treatment and medicine in fivecountries.
