National Security Adviser Dr. Moeed Yusuf says implementation of thecountry’s first-ever National Security Policy would be ensured through aclearly devised framework for the state institutions.
Talking to a private news channel, he said there is a comprehensiveimplementation framework for the state institutions in the document of thePolicy.
Moeed Yusuf said economic and human security are at the core of theNational Security Policy.
Responding to a query about Pakistan-India relations, he said Islamabadwants to improve ties with New Delhi, as higher connectivity will boosteconomy and alleviate poverty in the region.
However, the Advisor said Pakistan had to halt backdoor diplomatic contactswith India due to New Delhi’s non-seriousness and extremist mindset.
He said Pakistan’s principal stance is that India should care for Kashmirison humanitarian grounds and revoke its 5th August 2019 measures forresuming bilateral talks.
