Indian forces put under house arrests three former CM of IOK

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the leaders of PeoplesAlliance for Gupkar Declaration including three former Chief Ministers wereput under house arrest by the occupation authorities to prevent them fromholding a sit-in to protest against the proposals of J&K DelimitationCommission. Those who were placed under house detention include FarooqAbdullah, Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and M Y Tarigami.

The move of the occupation authorities has prompted angry reactions frompolitical parties which said that such steps will only incentivise andfacilitate violent agitations.

The spokesperson of the alliance strongly criticised the Modi governmentand said it is the gift from the authorities on the New Year and this isthe real picture of Kashmir.

The National Conference Vice President, Omar Abdullah, said this is the NewYear with the same police illegally locking people in their homes.
