Russia says it has carried out another successful test launch of its Zirconhypersonic cruise missile, fired from the Admiral Gorshkov warship in theWhite Sea and hit a naval target more than 400 kilometer away.
The defence ministry said it is second test in a fortnight.
The United States, China and North Korea are also involved in the contestto hypersonic missiles as they travel at more than five times the speed ofsound in upper atmosphere around 6,200 kilometer per hour.
