Pakistan strongly reacts over extra judicial killings of innocent Kashmiris in fake encounter

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Thursday strongly condemned India’s state-terrorismand extra-judicial killings of innocent Kashmiris in fake encounters andso-called “cordon and search operations” in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammuand Kashmir (IIOJK).

Indian occupation forces had martyred 35 Kashmiris in less than two monthsin the IIOJK. Three more civilians were martyred during a fake encounter on24 November in Srinagar.

The Foreign Office (FO), in a statement, reiterated that the Indianoccupation forces were committing grave crimes against the Kashmiris, including enforced disappearances, targeted and extra-judicial killings, and collective punishment of the population.

“No amount of Indian sophistry can obfuscate the Indian state-terrorismperpetuated with shameless impunity in IIOJK,” it said.

The use of brutal force could never succeed in breaking the will of theKashmiri people, struggling for their inalienable right toself-determination as enshrined in the relevant UNSC resolutions, said theFO.

A comprehensive dossier, presented by Pakistan in September this year, provided incontrovertible evidence of the gross and systematic human rightsviolations and crimes against humanity by Indian forces in the occupiedvalley, it said.

“Pakistan calls upon the international community to hold India accountablefor the egregious human rights violations of the innocent Kashmiri peoplein IIOJK,” added the FO.

“The deteriorating situation in the occupied territory poses a threat topeace and security”.
