LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and member of thePunjab Assembly Sumera Komal, on Thursday, submitted a resolution in theprovincial assembly, seeking former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) SaqibNisar’s name on the exit control list (ECL) following the recent leakedaudio saga.
An alleged leaked audio clip of Nisar’s talk with an unidentified mansurfaced recently, in which he purportedly passed instructions to sentencethe former prime minister, along with his daughter, Maryam Nawaz.
Nisar has already termed the audio clip as “fabricated,” however, Maryamthinks that the former CJP was involved in an “ugly conspiracy” against herfather.
Thursday’s PML-N resolution submitted in the PA claimed that after theaudio leak scandal, the party feared that Nisar could go abroad.
“Former chief justice admits in his audio leak that Mian Nawaz Sharif andhis daughter Maryam Nawaz should be kept in jail before the elections,”said the PML-N leader.

The resolution added that the PML-N supremo’s removal from the primeminister’s office was part of a “plan”.
Komal claimed that four testimonies, in favour of Nawaz, had come frominside the court and demanded that the former CJP’s name be placed on theECL.
“The Supreme Court should also take cognizance of this whole matter,” saidthe Nawaz-league leader demanded in her resolution.
