PCB announces 12 member squad for first test match against Bangladesh

LAHORE – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday announced the squadfor the first Test match against The Tigers.

The national selectors announced the squad for the Test against Bangladesh,which will be played on November 26 in Ch Zahoor Ahmed Cricket StadiumChittagong.Squad

Babar Azam (Captain), Mohammad Rizwan – Vice-captain (wicketkeeper),Abdullah Shafique, Abid Ali, Azhar Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Fawad Alam, HasanAli, Imam-ul-Haq, Nauman Ali, Sajid Khan and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Following the first game, the second Test will commence on Saturday, 4December at Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium Mirpur, Dhaka.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board announced the squad for the openingmatch of the Alesha Holdings Test series against Pakistan. The hosts willtry new faces including Mahmudul Hasan Joy, who has made a promising startto his first-class career, and pacer Rejaur Rahman Raja.

On the other hand, Babar led squad is in good spirits as they managed tocomplete a series whitewash 3-0 against ‘The Tigers’ when Nawaz hit aboundary off the last ball to give the Men in Green their 17th T20 victoryin a calendar year.
