Pakistan says it is fully capable of defending itself against anyaggression.
The Foreign Office Spokesperson while strongly condemning highlyirresponsible, provocative and gratuitous remarks by the Indian DefenceMinister threatening Pakistan, Asim Iftikhar said, the Indian Minister’sunfounded remarks are delusional and reflective of India’s characteristichostility towards its neighbours.
He said that India’s smear campaign against Pakistan has been totallyexposed and discredited.
He said the entire world is witnessing to Pakistan’s capability and resolvein thwarting the Indian misadventure in February 2019.
He said in doing so India wants to divert the attention of theinternational community from the widespread violations of human rights andinternational humanitarian law committed by the Indian occupation forces inthe Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He said Indian government’s frustration is evident from the fact thatdespite its unabated state-terrorism in IIOJK, it has utterly failed tosilence the peaceful voices of Kashmiris demanding their right toself-determination promised to them by the United Nations Security Councilin its various Resolutions.
Asim Iftikhar said while fully prepared to respond to India’s provocationsand irresponsible behaviour, Pakistan will continue to act responsibly andcontribute to all efforts for promoting peace, security and stability inthe region and beyond.
