The United Arab Emirates is working to de-escalate tensions with Iran.
Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President Anwar Gargash speaking at aconference in Abu Dhabi said we have taken steps to deescalate tensions, aswe have no interest in a confrontation.
He said the whole region would pay the price of such a confrontation fordecades to come.
