The European Union has slammed Israel’s settlement plan of building newhouses in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
In a joint statement, Estonia, Ireland, France, Norway and Albania stronglyopposed the expansion of settlements and any changes to the pre-1967borders.
The EU members called on Israel to immediately halt the construction ofsettlements in the occupied territories, including E1 and Givat Hamatos.
