US dollar bounces back against Pakistani Rupee in interbank market

The US dollar link delivered anotherheavy blow to the Pakistani rupee link as itopened for trading in the intra-bank market on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHDTV channel.

The US dollar link went up by Rs1.14against the Pakistani currency crossing Rs171 mark once again.

The greenback which ended Monday on Rs170.51 shot up to Rs171.65 on Tuesday.

Economic experts were of the view that the rupeelink seemed under renewed pressure overimport payments.

They further opined that the market has also set its sight on the outcomeof the negotiations between Pakistan and the International Monetary Fund(IMF).
