Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to appoint facilitating officers inthirty-nine federal divisions to provide better services to overseasPakistanis.
According to the PM Delivery Unit, the officers will not be below the rankof nineteen grade. The ministries have been directed to notify theappointment of facilitating officers.
The Prime Minister has also directed to establish special sections anddesks in thirty-four sub departments of thirteen ministries forfacilitation of overseas Pakistanis.
The federal departments have been directed to share the informationregarding this initiative with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry ofOverseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development and Ministry ofInformation and Broadcasting for dissemination to Pakistani diaspora.
