Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has saidthat direct engagement with the Taliban is the only way to prevent a humancatastrophe.
In an interview with Reuters, he said engagement would also encourage theprotection of human rights and the establishment of broad-based andconstitutional government.
