The State Special Operation Cell of the Punjab Police has arrested anIndian Army personnel who was allegedly spying for Pakistan’sInter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
The accused have been identified as Krunal Kumar, a resident of Gujaratposted at Ferozepur Cantt. He was in touch with Pakistani ISI agents whileworking in the Indian Army’s IT Cell.
According to the police probe, Krunal Kumar was befriended by a femalePakistani intelligence officer on Facebook. They soon started conversingover WhatsApp and phone calls. He eventually started passing on sensitiveand classified documents to agents across the border through encrypted apps.

A case was registered after receiving specific intelligence and the StateSpecial Operation Cell began investigating the matter. Krunal Kumar wasarrested and will be produced before a court for police remand.
