A high level meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shahwas held in Karachi on Friday.
The meeting approved one point eight billion dollar phase-III coal miningproject at Thar coal.
The meeting was informed that with completion of third phase Sindhgovernment will receive ten billion rupees royalty annually whereas therewill be benefit of sixty billion rupees to consumers with availability ofelectricity on low price.
Addressing the meeting, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said withexpansion of coal mining in phase three 12.2 million ton coal will beachieved annually.

Under this project, coal will be provided to coal based projects in otherparts of the country.
