Pakistani pacer Naseem Shah to sign a county deal for 2022 season

Young Pakistani paceman Naseem Shah may be likely to sign a County deal forthe 2022 season.

Famous sports journalist and owner of PakPassion.net, Sajid Sadiq, revealedon Twitter that the fast bowler is close to signing a deal with a countycricket club.

He further commented that it would prove to be a great learning opportunityfor Naseem Shah.

The teenage pace sensation had earlier said that he always wanted to bowllike the New Zealand pacer, Shane Bond.

Bond’s bowling career was shortened by recurring injuries. However, in 18Tests Bond played, he bagged 87 wickets at an average of 22.09. His numbersin ODIs were even better as he took 147 in 82 ODIs at an average of 20.88.

In a video shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Naseem said thatwhen he played tape-ball cricket, people used to tell him that he shouldplay hard-ball cricket.
