Afghan Taliban have agreed to work with neighbouring countries for regionalsecurity.
They expressed this willingness during a meeting of officials from tencountries including Taliban interim government delegation in Moscow.
Later, in a joint statement, parties to Moscow meeting reaffirmed theirwillingness to continue to promote security in Afghanistan for regionalstability.
The statement also called for urgent humanitarian aid for Afghans and saidcountries that recently withdrew troops from Afghanistan should fundreconstruction efforts.

The statement urged the Taliban to practise moderate and sound internal andexternal policies and adopt friendly policies towards neighbours ofAfghanistan.
On domestic policy, the participant countries called on the Taliban torespect the rights of ethnic groups, women and children.
