ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced establishment ofRehmatul-lil-Aalameen Authority to preach that Islam is a religion of loveand humanity.
Inaugurating the start of ten-day Rehmatul-lil-Alameen celebrations for themonth of Rabi-ul-Awwal in Islamabad on Sunday evening, he said aninternational advisory board comprising international scholars will also beconstituted to present real face of Islam before the world.
Khan said he will be the patron-in-chief of the Rehmatul-lil-AalameenAuthority and its chairman will be a top scholar of Islam.
The authority will monitor curriculum being taught at schools and organizeresearch in universities on the true message of Islam in light of theteachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He stressed the need to undertakeresearch on Muslim heroes.
