Pakistan and the United States have expressed the desire to promote theirbilateral relations.
The understanding to this effect reached during a meeting between Advisorto Prime Minister on National Security Moeed Yusuf and US Deputy Secretaryof State Wendy Sherman in Islamabad.
Both the sides discussed economic cooperation and the regional securitysituation.
The US side was appreciative of Pakistan’s efforts for evacuation offoreigners from Afghanistan and the help it has extended to the Afghanrefugees.
