Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says his country is consideringbuying a second Russian missile system despite strong objections by theUnited States.
In an interview with American broadcaster CBS News, Erdogan said Turkeywould make decisions on its defence systems independently.
Earlier, talking to journalists before departing New York, Erdogan saidTurkey would buy new missile defence systems if needed and that it wasalready developing its own.
