The US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation, ZalmayKhalilzad has arrived in Doha, Qatar to continue determined diplomacy inpursuit of a peace agreement between the Afghan government and Taliban.
In his series of Tweets, he said the US President Joe Biden has made clearin his recent remarks that a negotiated settlement is the only solution tothe Afghan issue and America’s military engagement in Afghanistan is comingto an end.
Zalmay Khalizad said we will work vigorously with all Afghan parties andregional and international stakeholders to try and help the sides find apath to ending this war.
