State Terrorism: Indian troops martyred two Kashmiri youth in IOK in fake encounter

Srinagar: Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred twoKashmiri youth in Handwara area of Kupwara district in Indian illegallyoccupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to details, the troops martyred the youth during a cordon andsearch operation at Kralgund in Handwara.

The residents while speaking to media said that it is staged encounter asIndian troops and police personnel arresting the youth and killing them ina fake encounter for their promotions and other rewards.The operation wasgoing on till last reports came in.

India on August 05, 2019 in a unilateral move abrogated Articles 370 and35A granting special status to occupied Kashmir. The move was followed byimposition of curfew and communication blackout in the valley still intactafter almost two years.

On October 31, 2019 India formally divided the state of Jammu and Kashmirin to two new federally-administered territories as per the constitutionalchanges approved by the Indian parliament on August 5.

According to the new arrangement, the occupied Kashmir is divided into twounion territories: Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, which borders China. Thetwo new union territories are now ruled directly from the capital Delhi. Asper Indian constitution, union territories have far less autonomy from thefederal government than states do.

Pakistan has, ever since, been raising its voice against Indian atrocitiesand gross human rights violations in Kashmir. Prime Minister Imran Khanalso, in his historic speech at UNGA session last year, also highlightedhow India has illegally imposed curfew and lockdown in the valley. He alsowarned the world that the worst humanitarian crisis could unfold in Kashmirfollowed by a possibility of war between the two nuclear states.

Even the international media, on several occasions, has highlighted thedeteriorating situation in Kashmir resulting from the persistent curfew andlockdown.
