The government is doing efforts to transform Pakistan’s geo-politics togeo-economy policy, stated the Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mahmood Qureshion Monday.
He stated that at foreign ministry, a Regional Economy Policy Division isbeing established in order to ensure influx of investment in the country.
He further revealed that digital technology is being used as an innovationin diplomacy which is aimed at bringing positive results in terms ofproductivity.
The FM Qureshi talked about Afghan peace process by stating that an activerole is being played by Pakistan as a peace facilitator in Afghanistan. Herevealed that Pakistan’s stance is being acknowledged which suggests thatthe conflict can not be resolved by military intervention. Approximately 47per cent withdrawal of foreign troops has been completed, revealed the FM.

While talking about Palestine, the Foreign Minister stated that Israeliaggression can be halted if Muslim countries show unity. He concluded bysaying that Pakistan will be continuing efforts to bring about peace inPalestine.
