ECO countries delegates all praise for Pakistan in improving regional connectivity

ISLAMABAD- Delegates from the ECO countries have hailed Pakistan’s effortsto improve regional connectivity and strengthen multilateral relationsamong the member states.

In their exclusive interviews with Radio Pakistan on the sidelines of theconference in Islamabad on Wednesday, they reaffirmed their commitment toboost mutual cooperation for the common good of the peoples of the region.

Chairman of the Committee on Human Rights of Azerbaijan Tahir Karimli saidAzerbaijan being located at the conjunction of Asia and Europe is ready toshare the benefit of its geographical location with ECO member states.

He emphasized the need to use high technology to utilize the maximum tradepotential of the region.

He said people of Azerbaijan have great love for the Pakistanis being theirclose friends and brothers.

In his interview with Radio Pakistan, Uzbekistan’s Chairman of Committee onDefence and Security Salikhov Erkin said Uzbekistan greatly values itsrelations with Pakistan and the ‘Mazar-e-Sharif-Kabul and Peshawar’ railwayproject among Uzbekistan, Pakistan and Afghanistan will prove to be alogistic hub of entire Central and South Asia.

He assured his country’s full support to trade between ECO countries.
