According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), six people, including formercaptain of the national cricket team and leader of Pakistan Super League(PSL) Quetta Gladiators Sarfraz Ahmedlink,left for Abu Dhabi via Bahrain.
According to sources, 4 players who left for Abu Dhabi are from Lahore and2 are from Karachi.
Four players including Zeeshan Ashraf and Zaid Alam arrived in Karachi fromLahore to participate in the remaining matches of PSL season 6 whileSarfraz Ahmed and PCB media manager Emmad Hameed left for Abu Dhabi fromKarachi. They are said to reach the destination via a private airline atabout 7:30 pm.
Earlier, the Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed and 10 other playerscould not leave for Abu Dhabi as they were denied clearance to play theremaining PSL 6linkmatchesso the remaining players including Sarfraz Ahmed went back to the hotelagain from the airport after they were not issued the visa to play theremaining PSL 6 matches in UAE.
According to sources, 5 people including fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain leftKarachi for Abu Dhabi while all 10 people from Lahore including SarfarazAhmed were denied clearance to travel to the country earlier.
