Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Saturday left for Kuwait on an officialone-day visit, reported 24News HD TV channel.
Kuwaiti Ambassador Nasril Mutahri saw the minister off at IslamabadAirport. The minister will meet his Kuwaiti counterpart during his visit aswell as present the letter of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Kuwaiti EmirSheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The interior minister will pursue the Kuwaiti interior ministry regardingthe issuance of visas to Pakistani citizens. Kuwait has been haltingissuing visas to Pakistani citizens since 2010.
Earlier, Sheikh Rasheed said that there would be an agreement regarding thehalt of Kuwaiti visas for Pakistanis since 2010. He expressed his hope thatthere would some agreement regarding Pakistani labourers in Kuwait as well.
