The US State Department says it wants to work with the new governmentin Pakistan on regional and international issues.
According to reports, US State Department spokesman Ned Price saidthat the United States views Pakistan as an important partner andimportant partner for a secure, stable and prosperous Afghanistan.
He said that US has been and will continue to work with Pakistan onAfghanistan, especially for an Afghanistan that respects thefundamental rights of its citizens, including minorities, women andgirls.
