Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has given direction to the Inspector General(IG) Police Islamabad to ensure the security of senior journalists andtheir homes from expected protests of PTI.
Under the direction of the PM, Marriyam Aurangzeb made a contact with IGIslamabad Ahsan Younis and said that the violators of “Chadar aurChardewari” should be dealt with severely.
She also said that the constitution has guaranteed the fundamental rightsand freedom of expression of the citizens so strict action should be takenagainst those who take the law into their hands.
The PML-N leader also expressed full solidarity with the journalistcommunity and strongly condemn the fascist dictatorial mindset andactivities of the rival party.
