Former Pakistan Human Rights Minister and PTI leader Shirin Mazari hassaid that Imran Khan, as Prime Minister, did not ask the army to helpend the “political deadlock”.
“Let me make it clear,” the former minister said in a statement onTwitter on Friday. And I say on the record that the Prime Minister didnot ask the army to help end the political deadlock.
He said the army had called for a meeting with then-Defense MinisterPervez Khattak and then raised three suggestions that the primeminister should resign or face a no-confidence motion or hold newelections.
