First gift of PMLN government to public: Electricity prices raised by Rs 4.85 per unit

*ISLAMABAD: Federal Government has made massive increase in the prices ofelectricity. *

*The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) increasedelectricity price by Rs4.85 per unit. *

The hike in the power tariff has been notified on account of the monthlyFuel Charges Adjustment (FCA) for the month of February, said NEPRAnotification.

The power regulatory authority took the decision after conducting a hearingon the plea of Central Power Purchasing Agency (CCPA).
