A soldier was martyred when a fire exchange took place between Pakistanarmy troops and terrorists in the general area Isham, North WaziristanDistrict on April 13, said a statement issued by Inter Services PublicRelations (ISPR).
“Own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. However, duringan intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Asmatullah Khan (age 28 years, residentof Mianwali), having fought gallantly, embraced shahadat,’ said the ISPRstatement.
Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any terroristsfound in the area, it added
