A meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet was held in Peshawar on Tuesdayunder the chair of Chief Minister Mahmood Khan.
Later, briefing the media about cabinet decisions, Special Assistant toChief Minister on Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said the cabinetapproved eighty-nine billion rupees for ten-year livestock developmentstrategy.
The cabinet also approved four hundred and fifty million rupees forcompensation to the people whose lands and houses have come underconstruction of Balakot Hydro Power Project.
Similarly, it also approved amendments in fisheries act, establishment ofhatcheries besides proposing strict punishment to discourage illegalfishing in the province.
Muhammad Ali Saif said the Provincial Cabinet also approved induction ofsome members in the board of governors of Oil and Gas DevelopmentAuthority.
