According to a statement by Russia’s embassy in Pakistan, said that“President Putin congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on his election as PrimeMinister of Pakistan.”
“Putin expressed hope that Shehbaz Sharif’s activities will contribute tofurther development of Pakistan-Russia cooperation and partner interactionon Afghan settlement, countering international terrorism.
