*Islamabad, Pakistan: Pakistan Army has taken notice of the propagandacampaign that has been launched after the former Prime Minister Imran Khanwas voted out.*
*Formation Commanders expressed complete confidence in leadership’swell-considered stance to uphold the constitution and rule of law, at allcosts.*
According to Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army,the 79th Formation Commanders’ Conference was held at GHQ. General QamarJaved Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) presided over the conference. Theconference was attended by Corps Commanders, Principal Staff Officers, andall Formation Commanders of the Pakistan Army.
The Conference took note of the recent propaganda campaign by some quartersto malign Pakistan Army and create division between the institution andsociety.
“Pakistan Army is aware of its responsibilities and shall continue todefend the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Pakistan against allinternal and external threats under all circumstances”, COAS concluded.

Participants were briefed on professional matters, national securitychallenges, and measures being undertaken to counter traditional andnon-traditional threats.COAS expressed satisfaction over the operational preparedness of formationsand response mechanisms to deal with emerging challenges. Forum paid richtribute to the supreme sacrifices of officers and men to ensure thesecurity of borders and the safety of the masses.
It may be noted that a large number of politicians of PTI had beenblatantly criticizing Pakistan Army on their social media accounts as wellas in public meetings where highly objectionable language had been used,particularly in the Lahore PTI protest.
