Kazakhstan’s First Deputy Defence linkMinister link and Chief of General StaffArmed Forces Lieutenant General Khussainov Marat Rakhimovich Monday calledon General Nadeem Raza, Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (JCSC)at Joint Staff Headquarters Rawalpindi.
The First Deputy Defence link Ministerlink is on an official visit to Pakistan.Matters of bilateral strategic interest with particular emphasis onevolving regional security situation particularly in Afghanistan andfurther strengthening of security and defencelink between the two brotherlycountries were brought into discussion during the meeting.
While praising the positive role of the Armed Forces of Pakistan forregional peace and stability, Lieutenant General Khussainov MaratRakhimovich expressed the desire to further expand these brotherlyrelations with a special focus on bilateral security, and militaryexchanges and exercises.
The JCSC Chairman said that Pakistan is keen to expand its existingbilateral military-to-military cooperation with Kazakhstanlink as part of Pakistan’s ongoingupward trajectory in Defence link withthe regional countries.
