After the success of the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan, theopposition alliance is set to elect new prime minister from Pakistan MuslimLeague-Nawaz (PML-N) and the National Assembly speaker from PakistanPeople’s Party (PPP).
PPP’s Naveed Qamar link is a strongcandidate for the National Assembly speaker.
However, the PPP link is yet to decide whetherto become part of the federal cabinet or not.
