IHC to take up petition against removal of COAS by PM: media report

Islamabad High Court fixes for hearing the petition against removal of COASGeneral Qamar Bajwa by PM Imran Khan.

Islamabad High Court’s doors were opened on the instructions of IHC ChiefJustice Athar Minallah.

The IHC has ordered to open the Court room no 1 and has also summoned allthe court officials.

It is worth mentioning that on April 3, NA Deputy Speaker Qasim Suridismissed the no-confidence motion and on advice of the premier, PresidentArif Alvi dissolved the lower house of the parliament — as he hadeffectively lost the majority in the NA.
