Chief Justice of Pakistan to start contempt of court proceedings: media report

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial to hear contempt ofcourt petition tonight.

CJP has decided to open the Supreme Court’s doors in light of the currentpolitical situation.

The chief justice has instructed the relevant officials of the top court toopen the doors at 12am, sources said, as the National Assembly Speaker AsadQaiser is yet to allow voting on the no-confidence motion against PrimeMinister Imran Khan.

Meanwhile, Islamabad High Court’s doors are also being opened on theinstructions of IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah, sources said.
