Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar has called onChief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa to intervene and issue astatement on the crisis in the country if the government fails to holdvoting on the no-confidence motion today.
“The COAS must speak out and say that he is standing with the Constitutionof Pakistan like a professional soldier,” Khokhar said in a tweet.
The National Assembly session has once again been adjourned till 7.30 PM,as the opposition accuses the government of using delaying tactics toderail the process.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has called a cabinet meeting at 9.30 PM tonight,which has strengthened the impression that the government will not letvoting on the no-confidence motion take place.
