*Former Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed says that he has notreceived any offer to become caretaker prime minister of the country fromofficial channels, but if such a proposition is presented to him he willconsider it, SAMAA TV’s Irfanul Haq reported.*
The PTI on Monday announced that out going Prime Minister Imran Khan hasnominated Justice Gulzar as caretaker prime minister.
Speaking with Irfanul Haq on Tuesday, Justice Gulzar said he has not made afinal decision but if he gets the responsibility he will have to shoulderit.
When the former CJP’s attention was drawn towards the ongoing politicalcrisis, he said the crisis will end after the Supreme Court verdict, butbecoming a caretaker prime minister entails enormous responsibilities andthat he was willing to shoulder them.
