ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the sentence oflifetime disqualification is not enough and those who sold their conscienceshould also be jailed.
Addressing a gathering at Governor’s House on Tuesday, he said that theycommitted mistakes in the past and paid the price for them.
He appealed to the people to protest against the alleged conspiracy againstthe prime minister. “It is our duty to defeat the conspiracy.”
APP adds: Prime Minister Imran Khan Tuesday said that the Pakistani nationwould teach a lesson to those traitors in the general elections who triedto topple an elected government that was pursuing an independent foreignpolicy.
Referring to his main political opponents, the prime minister said thatthese three stooges had been plundering the national wealth for the last 30years and stashed it abroad. “They can say that beggars are not choosersdue to their vested personal interests, he added.
He said a drama had been staged in the country. “In the local hotel ofLahore, PTI defectors who had sold their party allegiance were puttogether. With such shabby tactics, the democracy, future of the cominggenerations and solidarity of the nation had been put at stake, he added.
