Islamabad: The Opposition could move toward elections once the Constitutionhas been upheld in the country, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chiefFazlur Rehman said on Monday.
Talking to reporters, JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman said a constitutionalcrisis had been created in the country at present.
Fazl’s comments came after Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suridismissed the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan onSunday, saying it was backed by “foreign powers”.
He said Imran Khan had dissolved the National Assembly, and the Presidentmade no haste to issue a notification to dissolve the Assembly.
Fazl appealed the top court to reject the ruling of the Deputy Speakerregarding no-confidence motion.
