President receives letter from PM over proposed name of interim PM

ISLAMABAD – President Dr Arif Alvi on Monday received a letter fromPrime Minister Imran Khan regarding the appointment of caretaker primeminister.

The prime minister proposed to the president the name of former ChiefJustice Justice � Gulzar Ahmed. The name of the caretaker primeminister was proposed under Article 224 of the Constitution.
