New development reported from Punjab Assembly

Lahore: The Punjab Assembly session was adjourned till April 6 without anyproceedings. According to details, the session was held to elect the newChief Minister of Punjab.

PML-Q leader Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and Hamza Shahbaz of PML-N were the twocontestants for the office of the Chief Minister.

However, the session was adjourned after a ruckus was created among theattendees.
