It further emerged that cases could also be registered against threeopposition leaders while their eight members who met foreign diplomatscould also be booked in the treason case.
The slot of the law ministry got vacated after Farogh Naseem resigned fromthe position, following MQM-P’s decision to join the ranks of the jointopposition parties.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry yesterday claimedlinkthathe will be appointed as the new Law Minister and requesting the courts tosuspend Shehbaz Sharif and Humza Shehbaz’s bails would be his first action.
