US supports constitutional process in Pakistan and Vote of No Confidence is a constitutional process

WASHINGTON – US State Department Spokesman Ned Price has said that USsupports constitutional process in Pakistan. He further said that there is’no truth’ to the allegations levelled by Prime Minister Imran Khan thatthe US is involved in a conspiracy to remove him from power.

In his statement, he said: “We are closely following developments inPakistan. We respect (and) we support Pakistan’s constitutional process andthe rule of law,” Price said.

Meanwhile, White House Director of Communications Kate Bedingfield saidthat there is ‘absolutely no truth’ to allegations that Washington isworking with the opposition in Pakistan to remove Prime Minister Imran Khan.
