Islamabad: Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad ChaudhryFriday said that the security of Prime Minister Imran Khan has beenincreased after security agencies reported ‘threats of assassination’against him amid ongoing political instability in the country.
On his official twitter handle, the Federal Minister stated: “Plot beinghatched to assassinate Prime Minister Imran Khan”.
He further said, the government decided to beef up security of the Premierfollowing death threats.
The development came after Imran Khan shared some details of what heclaimed a ‘letter proof’ to substantiate his allegation of a foreign handtrying to topple his government with senior journalists of the country.
