National Security Committee (NSA) has expressed its serious concern overthe “threat letter” and decided to strongly respond to it.
The committee’s meeting presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan wasattended by all services chiefs and federal ministers and officialsconcerned.
National Security Advisor Moeed Yusuf briefed the participants of themeeting in detail.
The National Security Committee (NSA) termed the letter an openinterference in the affairs of Pakistan, which should appropriately beresponded.
The committee expressed its severe concern over the contents of the letter.
Earlier, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh HabibThursday said the Parliamentary Committee on National Security would bebriefed on the “threat letter” that pertained to the regime change in thecountry, later in the day.
In a tweet, the minister said the foreign powers had no right to change ademocratically elected government in Pakistan through a conspiracy.
“No compromise will be made on Pakistan’s security and sovereignty,” headded.
