Two Pakistani Boxers go missing in England after Commonwealth Games

Two Pakistani boxers, Suleman Baloch and Nazeer Ullah Khan have gonemissing in England after their participation in the 2022 CommonwealthGames. It is reported that the two boxers disappeared from the Birminghamairport.

According to details, the Pakistani boxing contingent was due to travelback to Pakistan from Birmingham today but the boxers were nowhere to befound. The rest of the boxing contingent which included 3 boxers and 4officials traveled back to Islamabad airport without the two boxers.

The passports of both the boxers were in possession of the team managementwhich made their disappearance all the more suspicious. Both the boxerswere present during the reception held by the Pakistani Consulate inBirmingham for the Pakistani athletes in the Commonwealth Games.

Suleman Baloch and Nazeer Ullah Khan participated in the boxing event inthe 2022 Commonwealth Games. The two athletes failed to impress in theiroutings in different weight classes as they lost convincingly to theiropponents. Baloch suffered defeat at the hands of India’s Shiva Thapa inthe 63.5kg category while Nazeer Ullah was defeated by England’s LewisWilliams in the heavyweight category.
