In a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of Election Commissionof Pakistan (ECP), lawyer for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) FaisalChaudhry has requested ECP to stop Hamzalink Shehbazfrom working as Punjab link Minister,reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
“Hamza Shehbaz has lost majority in Punjablink after the decision of the electioncommission,” reads the letter.
“The election commission has de-seated 25 dissident parliamentarians whilegiving its verdict on a reference against them,” it adds.
“The election commission should issue a notification to de-notify thedissident members,” it requests link.
“New MPAs should be issued notifications on the reserved seats according tothe new list,” it demands.

The PTI link also sent names for five reservedseats to the election commission.
As per the letter of Faisal Chaudhry, it has been demanded that BatoolJanjua, Saira Raza and Fauzia Abbas should be issued notifications as PTIlink MPAs on reserved seats of women.
Similarly, Habakkuk Gill and Samuel Yaqub should be nominated as PTIlink on reserved seats of minorities.
